Tunnel Cobra collects nothing.
No accounts. No analytics. No advertising. No tracking of any kind, across this app or anywhere else. Nothing about you is gathered, stored on a server, sold, or shared — because none of it is ever collected in the first place.
The app contains no third-party SDKs and makes no network requests of its own. It works perfectly well with the device in aeroplane mode.
What is stored on your device
The game saves a small amount of data locally, so that it can remember your progress between sessions. This never leaves your device, and it is not readable by me or by anyone else:
- Your best score, best depth, and total number of runs
- Counts of fuel depots and enemies destroyed
- Your Daily Challenge score, best, and streak
- Your settings: sound, haptics, reduce motion, assist mode, and which side the flight stick is on
Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Game Center
Tunnel Cobra offers optional leaderboards through Game Center, which is Apple's service, not mine. If you are signed in to Game Center and play a run, your score is submitted to the relevant leaderboard.
What I receive from this is what any player can already see: leaderboard entries, consisting of a score and whatever display name you have chosen to show in Game Center. I do not receive your Apple Account, your email address, or any means of contacting or identifying you.
Apple's handling of Game Center data is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy. You can sign out of Game Center at any time in iOS Settings → Game Center; the game remains fully playable if you do.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to consent to, and no data that a parent would need to request the deletion of.
Purchases
There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising. If you bought the app, that transaction was between you and Apple; I never see your payment details.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data a company holds about you. I hold none, so there is nothing to access or delete. The local data described above is entirely under your control and is removed by deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever begins collecting anything — which is not planned — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change. Past versions of this policy are in the app's source repository.
